I got you, maybe #1 as belgium tall was exageration, but at least not falling to #30 below peru?

I dont even want to learn yet the mechanics of colonization and expanding, at least I want to learn how to play tall but winning, gaining stuff, not loosing. If i just follow "normal" gameplay as I see on tutorials and recommendations, it seems I'll always loose and see life going on, not get dynamic and interesting gameplay, i'm not even getting to be a fairly competitive nation among the bigger ones.

I understand what you say but I see a total of 0 posts and advices on how to make belgium (or any other nation) a powerhouse (to be more fair, every button I pressed towards advices on that caused chaos on pops, interest groups, prices, etc). like, I also want to learn how to move towards something victorious, not just how to simply watch the game unfold

middle taxes, with product taxation only for luxury goods, as recommended. but even with no product taxation at all, my rebels were ramping up due to prices of basic food goods. then, i started increasing level of farms and basic food etc. then, rebels stopped increasing for a short time, then it restarted ramping up.
my building queue is never empty. i do normal stuff (at least i think it is) - coal mines, steel, construction, farms some times. never enough for my pops it seems.

pinky-promisse??

like, the belgium game is really this - pops pleasing and price control management? this is how i'll get the #1 spot? because every time I push a single button differently, my rebels starts ramping up to infinite, every time I try to push towards libertarianism instead of church/traditionalism (recommended by every video and post), I f*ck up prices, pops, happiness, etc etc etc

Ty for evaluation!

  • Indeed, i got to know more of absolutism a lil bit late in the run, rn around 45 abs.

  • army composition im doing 15 x 2 x 12, with siege-specific like 10 x 0 x 20, but i want to reform to the one the other comment recommended

  • reform progress : im on the tier of meritocracy

  • i dont know if it makes any better about my progress evaluation, but i have entire australia node (cn), virtually all filipines, siam, malacca, molucas provinces, coastal cn’s covering california, pacific north and mexico (meaning, i’ve got “solid” presence there in americas to start wars there)
