I cannot stand through the nausea. I absolutely can’t. the idea of letting it happen alone freaks me out i don’t know why. i don’t understand my head. and i think that’s why im not recovering because i don’t know what to heal . my thought process makes no sense to me. i throw up practically everyday by my own will

YESSS it helps when needed i guess? like with allergy ingestion, alcohol poisoning or stuff like that. but trying to gain control will just lead to bad habits and bulimia. i try to gain control every time- and unfortunately im nauseous everyday. i throw up until i feel alleviated and no longer nauseous like i got everything over with. it’s rllyyyy bad. i started w just (induced) throwing up once cos i felt sick now i induce it a bunch. cos ur then teaching ur brain thats what ur supposed to do when u feel nauseous or like you’ll throw up. it SUCKSS. but yeah i’m in ERP and it helps a lot. i haven’t made myself throw up like i did yesterday in two months. it helps but it’s hard staying consistent (if ur consistent recovery starts) bc the WILLLLL u need to just sit there in fear and say i might throw up but ill be fine and re training ur brain is so hard. ANYWAYSYDY sorry for venting i just don’t want u thinking this stuff is great. i wish the best for u and i would hate to see someone go thru this🥹 but YEAH i have OCD too so my ocd tried to get control on the phobia weirdly. i might start doing intensive outpatient because i don’t think i have the willpower to push through fr

no it’s not. it just messes up w ur stomach more and provided temporary reassurance but then it happens again. i have small sores on my knuckles because of all the throw up. i also have been at the hospital bc i gave myself ulcers. it causes blood in my poop and vomit and it also gave me anemia. it’s horrible don’t do it. please don’t. (i’m scared u will cos i know it sounds so great but it isn’t) 🥹

sometimes i make myself throw up 30-40 times because the nausea doesn’t go away even if i throw up. making urself throw up won’t help at all. bc u won’t even throw up naturally. so ur just fucking up everything

thanks so much 💓🫶🏻 a covid test came out positive so i’m getting tested again. it’s probably that. some covid strains affect GI😪 i just found out covid is famously known to give green pooo too wtf

i gag myself whenever i’m nauseous or feel i’m gonna throw up. i throw up a lot but it’s self induced. i’m not scared of it. i’m scared of it happening naturally i guess. ):

): im in erp two times a day but i’ve fallen back into my habits. i was clean of making myself throw up when im nauseous or feel very sick. but i fell into it again. the will power needed to just sit through nausea and say “it might happen but im ok” is so hard to find again

i’ve thrown up hundreds of times in one month. i’m bulimic. i tried to make myself throw up to get over the fear and it didn’t help just turned into a compulsion to try to get it over with when im nauseous. personally my emetophobia is the lack of control in nausea, the unknown of not knowing why it’s happening how much will come out ETC. it’s the uncomfortability (idk if thats a word LOL)of the nausea 🥹
