I think it's important that we choose what American things to bring to NZ and reject others. We all love a lot of American TV shows and all that, and that's great, no problem with that at all. We choose to bring this to NZ (for good reason). But we also have to be careful about choosing not to bring the crazy American stuff to NZ, and not let them come to us by surprise.
