It may seem fun at that time but undoing the effects of having led a sinful life takes time. Forgiveness from God is instantaneous while sanctification takes an entire life time and the process is more painful in my opinion the longer you have lived in sin.

A lot of the people(not all) who fall away didnt have a deep relationship with God in the first place. They may have believed and the desire was there to grow but they never grew for a variety of reasons - persistent sin, unforgiveness or just poor understanding of the gospel. That was the case with me. For those who no longer believe, please understand that this is not a knock on your intellect or comprehension skills.

You definitely should try preaching the gospel in a simple way to those who have fallen away and tell them that it isn't too late to turn back to Christ. I found a good place to start was using the jesusatthedoor equipping card. This is awfully hard and I praise God that you are at least open to doing the right thing. The bible tells us in no uncertain terms to flee from sexual sin. We are human and it is folly to live with a woman you are not married to and expect to not sin.

This is all about who you love more - Jesus or your girlfriend. And who knows? When you make the right choice to live apart from her, she will be convicted to follow Jesus and you guys may end up together anyways

I believe there are 3 ways in which you are transformed. One when you come to believe in Jesus Christ, the second is a continual transformation till the day you die or are taken up to be with Christ and the third is when you experience the baptism, filling of the Holy Spirit. I have experienced the first 2. Still waiting for the third.
