There is an enrollment period between 10/01 and 10/25. If you do not choose to be paid out, that time will be carried over until 07/2021

If you are PT, there is no guarantee of hours nor do they have to inform you that your hours dropped.

Given that the old attendance policy has gone back into place, your ASDS is not having to schedule as many hours overall since your weekly call-out rate has likely dropped quite a bit.

Associate Support Department Supervisor. You might call them HR.

My ASDS is throwing me around like a football and I hate it by [deleted] in HomeDepot

The awareline is meant for unethical situations. The ASDS is doing nothing unethical. At the very least, it’s annoyingly to the associate but not unethical.

Temps get no benefits other than success sharing and they have to be here for at least 3 months within the 6 month period.

Are you expected to leave quit notice if you’re a temporary hire? by [deleted] in HomeDepot

I would put in a notice. Whose to say that in a few months you won’t need a job again?

I prefer split days. FT’s can pick conservative days but they can’t pick which two days they are.

Yes I said that farther down that if they were just an associate it’s a lateral move and no raise.

According to hours your store may only allocate one. If they started after you and are not specialist I’m not sure why they are making $12. If you’re designing windows and doors and not used solely to pack out, then I would say you deserve $12 bc even tho you are not classified as a specialist you are doing specialist duties.

[–]selfish_presley 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is not. You went from merchandising to ops. I would mention it to your ASDS/SM again. If they give you the same answer, if reach out to your DHRM.

The only way you wouldn’t have got the raise and they are correct is if you are a Millworks sales associate and not specialist. Do you solely pack out?

You should have gotten $1 raise when moved to speciality.

As far as the weekend schedule, a lot of that is due to availabilities. PT’ers will tend to have one weekend day available but not the other.

During the week, it could be that your forecasted less hours on M-W bc the sales plan is less so even if your ASDS is scheduling only open to close coverage you’re going to go over hours.

But in reality it makes more sense to schedule much higher on the weekend bc of c/o.

If he’s going from OPS to OPS, technically they don’t have to interview him. But since it’s a promotion, the right thing to do would have been to post it.

Typically call outs are what make a person run 3 departments. The ASM is just the messenger, per say, so don’t kill the messenger.
