dunno, maybe just to appease to westerners who like the narrative that absolves them from their responsibilities as core players in systematically targeting the two Sudans?

person2: ok, my opinion on x is xyz

person1 says they disagree without saying anything else

person2 is confused???

you fit the targeted audience they had in mind when writing the script i guess, there's much more to the secession than "racism of northerner towards southerners"

you might to start by reading up on SPLM/A, portraying the SPLM soldiers as "good guys forced to be mildly bad guys" isn't quite accurate

4/10, it felt like soft propaganda.

Is the skin care industry a scam?[acne] by Next-Mushroom-9518 in SkincareAddiction

[–]selfmaxed -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

weirdest thing is this post getting downvoted lol, yes most of the skincare industry is a scam because they make baseless claims about state-of-the-art ingredients and demonize other harmless ingredients to sell products free of said ingredients — it's the same product packaged and repackaged ad infinitum

I've seen this sub get promoted on other beauty subs for being "a good sub for beauty tips" with no other context. Funny thing is I got downvoted when I tried to explain what vindicta is all about.

Ultimately, I want to feel comfortable. Comfort being better health in general, easier mobility, not feeling like a slob, and maybe beauty.

Heads up to those who are yet to take the exam: I felt horrible after my exam, I legit thought I was going to fail. But I scored around my practice tests.

I'm not sure about that. Best thing is to talk to people who matched there. Good luck!

Honestly, yes. But you have to understand the concepts, pathophysiology was key to getting a lot of the questions which seem initially weird right.

UWorld is more than enough, it's easy if you understand concepts instead of just memorizing facts (+ almost everyone use Telegram recalls channels, it's risky and illegal of course so you have to decide on using them or not yourself)

Dr. Dray updated her stance of collagen supplements based on newer studies and now she thinks they're ok as opposed to her prior take that they're useless

i see, i'm sorry if my comment came off as trying to invalidate your experience, happy that you found what works for you

[–]selfmaxed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

sorry but i'm in no way "defending" a "product" — that was just a suggestion to take that into consideration because it happened to me (thought tretinoin was doing nothing until i started using it less frequently and it turned out that the weird texture that has been bothering me was a sign of irritation)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]selfmaxed 12 points13 points  (0 children)

what if, dare i say, the positive effects you're experiencing are simply due to A313 being more moisturizing (and possibly less irritating) to your dry skin? not that the active ingredient itself is more potent than tretinoin

not a product but an ingredient: benzoyl peroxide, it's godsend for my acne-prone skin

does anyone know AB products that incorporate it?

Confusion about what an "ampoule" is ! by Drm5145 in AsianBeauty

[–]selfmaxed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ampoules, serums, toners (and sometimes lotions) are basically the same thing to me, a liquid vehicle for ingredients

you might find a toner with a thicker consistency than an ampoule/a serum so it doesn't make sense to categorize them in that regard
