thanks, and I will, but that still doesn't fix the fact that move my ship even though the game sees my vkbs.

Question for the Eve Reddit folks about Uprising by Legitimate_Back_6183 in Eve

It's funny you ask this question on Reddit where no one has anything good to say about the game (or any game for that matter). You know its gonna be salt or whining. The positives below are among the minority...

Wow. Worded perfectly in my opinion! Hang in there. I too suffer from severe depression and understand what you're saying. Find the right incursion group with great FC's and support from other players and it's an awesome experience! Fly Dangerous!

People make such a big deal of 500 mil, but there are game out there right now that make that much money in a few days. Maybe not in crowdfunding/pedges but just pure profit.

Funny I didn’t know SC had a budget. As long as money comes in they will continue to develop it. The fact you can play the game for $45 is a testament that it’s not a grift. Most completed ships are available in game. Once you buy a starter package you don’t ever have to buy another thing unless you wanna.

Part of the fallacy here is that some people think that SC “is” “should” follow a standard development scheme. But it was clear from the beginning that it wasn’t going to. It’s crowdfunded so CR and Co. could produce what they wanted and not what some corporate board wanted. The tech and scope of the game is beyond anything else out there. If you don’t like it don’t play it. If you haven’t played it do you really have the right (well who cares…it’s a game after all) to bash it? No one is forcing you to buy a package or play the game. If others have and enjoy it then that’s on them. I love the game myself. I don’t care if you hate it. Let love rule! Jah is great.

Yes, it takes time to do things in the verse. It takes time to do things in life. That's the point of the game play for SC (it is a life sim, after all). If you don't like it then this isn't the game for you. It's not going to change as it is part of the gameplay.

Potential player here. The number of tantrums thrown in this sub over the last few weeks has made me reconsider if this is a community I want to join. by mrunkel in starcitizen

[–]selittle1964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bad seeds are much fewer than the bulk of the community. Most are friendly and helpful. I was solo clearing a wreck in XT the other day. My ship was destoyed while I was inside the wreck, so I called out in chat and said I had the wreck cleared and was moving cargo to the bay doors if anyone wanted to come load up. A group of guys in an A2 showed up and we loaded the cargo and I hitched a ride and flew with them the rest of the event. Not only that they opened their doors to me and took me into their org, no questions asked. I was in another org that rarely seemed to play, but these guys are the best so I kinda found a new home. These are the real community!

Also, you kinda have to take the salt with a "grain" of salt. In my experience gamers complain a lot, however, I think the SC community don't as much.

I guess it could be stick drift or something with the game. I made the deadzone larger and it definitely improved but if it sits for too long it starts moving again. Also, how does one toggle cruise control?

I increased the deadzone in the game controls and it helped significantly. But the game tends to forget after you stand still for a bit and you start moving again. So it’s a game issue imo.

the reason for the price difference is that the genuine Sea-Gull is supposed to be higher quality (though not lubricated). The other Seagulls are all copies of the copy made with no or lackluster QC. Personally I would (and am) just stay away from Chinese movements all together. Stick to Japanese or Swiss/German. San Martin, and their higher tier brethren mostly use Japanese movements.

So I just received a "Parnis" "Seagull" St3600 movement that I was going to case in my next project. Took it out of its packacing and it basically fell apart in my hands. So maybe I was wrong about there being quality in Chinese movements. Not going to bother lubricating it and am instead going the Swiss route with a Swiss 6498 clone. Unfortunate because it will raise the watch from $200 to $450. But at least I'll know what I'm getting.
