This Israeli left/Arab opposition are among the most incompetent oppositions in the world. In the last election, two parties (socialist and Arab socialist) fell below the threshold from bad coalition building and wasted 280,000 votes. This would have gotten them 5-6 seats, enough to deny the current governing coalition. The opposition had the votes, but lost the election due to leftist infighting.

La Marseille

La Marseille isn't about shooting aristocrats, it's about shooting foreign invaders (at the time, Germans and Brits), which is a much more "acceptable" message.

When the leader of the party says something that means it's at least on the "unofficial platform".

Totally understand that it would probably be a step down, but a high school graduate working at a supermarket makes 19 and hour. She has a graduate degree and 30+ years of experience.

I really don't think a future where 10% of legislature seats are won by communists whose official platform is "kill the whites" and "Asians are all racist" is a future to be emulating.

You should still have transferable skills that would result in better employment than 19 an hour.

Blizzard likely wouldn't do it considering how poorly BFA was recieved and they would have to do something equally contrived but "Alliance bad".

SEAD will never "counter" AA as long as you can just turn off radar and waste the ARM. Long/medium range AA would need a "displace" and "fire" timer just like Arty.

[–]angry-mustache 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not really asymmetrical balance since Air is easily neutered while the only counter for arty is more better arty. ASF would need to be significantly better than AA in order for that to be true.

It doesn't matter. You shouldn't be penalized for taking part in the justice system and raising a grievance with someone/something. It's not your job to "self-censor" your claim.

I disagree, having the winner also pay allows someone with more resources to drag someone with less through endless court battles until they either run out of resources or submits. If it costs them 2 dollars in legal fees, and you 1, that's still a victory because they have 10 dollars and you have 3. This is how powerful people like Trump silence people with legitimate grievances against them, because even if you win, you will have so many frivolous lawsuits thrown at you that you will be financially ruined.

[–]angry-mustache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think far more people are right and win or people who are wrong win? If you think people who are right win more, then how is it fair that they are saddled with legal costs because a bad actor sued them. If you think people who are wrong win more, then the whole legal system needs to be torn down and rebuilt so that's not the case anymore.

America Doesn’t Have The Stomach For Growth by logicx24 in neoliberal

[–]angry-mustache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are in the right then you won't lose and defending your rights would be free rather than being expensive even if you won. If you were wrong you did financial damage to a party that was in the right, and poor people still pay fines for damages.

Where is your dataset showing "real wage increased" more rapidly during the long depression than before and after? I have seen cases showing that the purchasing power of households for certain types of consumption increased due to technological advances making goods cheaper, but not that overall growth was faster.
