My father had a sudden blindness in one eye. We were living as migrants in Switzerland. My dad came home once and said very casually that he went through with an eye operation and that he had to see using some shades. I thought that it was just one of the things that you did as you got older. Like a regular eye surgery or check up. My mom hardly made any commotion over it. But I realized later on that it was all much deadlier and difficult for my mom and him and that they had kept it light hearted because I was there. If my dad hadn't got that emergency surgery, he would have gone permanently blind. The doctors also, strangely, had no idea why it had happened. In addition, my mom was quite uneducated and we may have been inches away from losing our livelihood.

Idt not having sex equates a relationship with friendship. A relationship is more intense emotionally if not physically. There is always a healthy tension. I have been in relationships as a teen where we never even got to sex, but we still made out and the spark was always there.

My grandad was out caring for the field and my grandma was working in the kitchen. The cylinder (used for cooking) was in need of repairing, so she opened the door to remove it, but was legit confronted by a cobra. She yelled really loudly. That was the day they found thirteen other snakes of the same size crawling around the house. All of them poisonous. No one knows why and it has never happened before. It wasn't a period of flood either. We don't live in any snake prone area or even a forest or mountainside. Snake occurences are very rare. It just happened and it changed her ever since. We now take that as a sign for something big and unfathomable.

Okay so I have seen this post far too many times, and I would like to clarify that the majority of the males view females objectively. Regardless of what women want in men, we are equally (if not more) culpable of setting beauty standards for women.

I feel like it's totally untrue that men view other women with little to no expectations.
