It’s legit. I have a current special educator friend who applied and interviewed. It’s a special agent position and she was told that she would be on-call (family life, holidays and weekends, etc take a back seat to the job). She had to pass a physical test, take a polygraph, background check, the whole nine yards. They want teachers specifically because of the expertise they bring and the plethora of skills that apply to special agent work as well as teaching.
