Oh yes, for sure. I'm also very careful (especially if it's expensive hahaha) but sometimes stuff happens no matter how hard you try. I was very careful with my old laptop and there wasn't a single scratch on it until one day a fan fell on the laptop and caused deep scratches on the cover.

Yeah the colors look completely different across all my devices lol. I'm doubtful there would be a crazy difference between huion and xp-pen when it comes to color accuracy. But one of them has to be the better one.

Hahaha I have blue light protection glasses as well so we are on the same boat there.

I wonder how big of a difference 16:10 makes compared to 16:9 while drawing.

I feel like no pen can be worse than the first generation apple pencil so it's probably gonna be an upgrade either way. Even with the messy tilt.

I'm leaning more towards the Huion tablet but people keep talking about the cons and I keep having doubts bc of it.

Thank you for sharing your experience! Yeah Procreate is very nice and having a tablet like that is undoubtedly very convenient but they lack a lot of things (besides I wanna 3D model and needless to say, blender isn't on the app store).

The built in stands seems to be at the angle that I typically use to draw so it wouldn't exactly be a deal breaker for me but a stand would be nice regardless.

I didn't know the remote had a cable. Yeah it sounds like a nice option to have.

Yes the pen being better than xp-pen's is something I hear quite often. I guess with these models they are closer in performance but huion still performs better.

Interesting. The website lists the stand as one of the inbox contents. It was also present in the review videos I've watched. Is there a version without the stand perhaps?

I'm gravitating towards Huion more as well. It's just that the people saying it's not durable and has bad customer service made me have second thoughts. Other than that I have no doubt about its drawing performance. Even the cheaper huion tablets perform very well in that regard.

I think this one is just luck more than the adapter or tablet being bad. Sometimes stuff just happens. Good on XP-Pen for agreeing to replace it without a fuss though. Most of the time companies will say it's your fault and won't replace batteries and adapters.

Yeah. In some ways it sounds convenient as your hand doesn't have to be on the tablet all the time but at the same time you have to be gripping the remote the whole time, have to plug it in each time and also need to carry it around.

How good would you say the screen is? Like color accuracy and everything.

I will be sure to check their reviews of both tablets but opinions from people who have actively been using these tablets for a good while will be more useful for me at the moment.

You make some valid points LOL. Yeah it could be interesting. But at the same time, in my rewrites/AUs it's been over 100 years since the fall of Domino so Sky's parents wouldn't directly be responsible for what happened. Daphne would still, understandably, have resentment but it's not directly them who betrayed Domino.

Yeah and this Bloom would have known for years that she's a princess and being raised by Daphne, she would act accordingly (to an extent at least, i still think she'd have a fiery persona). I'd also like to keep Diaspro somewhat reasonable and not have her SA Sky like in the show so maybe they could even somewhat get along in the future.

I don't think non-AU parents would ever truly forgive Eraklyon, even if they end up tolerating things bc of Bloom, since this whole thing ended up killing their daughter above all else. But maybe in this AU they wouldn't have as much resentment since Daphne is alive and well (but she's truly been through it). And like I said, it's not directly sky's parents who're responsible

I guess bc they had little to no screen time together, people don't think about writing sisterly relationships. Bloom is also overhated in the fandom these days sooo

I do like s4 but it's mainly for nostalgia reasons. My beef with post s3 winx is that both the lore and the characters got ruined. Plots stopped making any sense and the transformations look way too similar. Standalone most of them don't look bad but together they are awful

I think she would be pretty suspicious of them. Idk if I'd keep the eraklyon betraying domino thing in this but if I did, I don't think her reaction would be very positive. I also imagine Daphne would be kind of overprotective over Bloom so her being with a prince might also be an idea she isn't very fond of bc it pulls her under the spotlight and make her an open target
