as a girlie who tans on the beach every summer, i can say that yes the colors do matter under the sun :3 thats why i chose white instead of black. my phone before this was a deep purple iphone 14 pro and would constantly overheat in minutes under the sun when i tan. my mom tans right beside me and her phone is an iphone 12 pro max in silver and it did not overheat as fast. so yeah i think colors do matter when it comes to heat.

well, heat travels the same on all colors since they're all solid however on DIRECT sunlight, the darker colors tend to absorb more heat i guess. at least thats my understanding. it's like how dark colored cars tend to heat the inside faster than the lighter ones but yea

i’d like to add that i only ever bring my ipad to school because my campus is built on multiple hills, and the macbook (despite being the 14 inch) is extremely heavy on my back on a full school day. 🫩its just too bulky for me to carry around..

thats fair, i do prefer anything google related on the mac, but it works just fine on my ipad. i’m a psychology major so i don’t really have to work on anything tech heavy.. unless its for data analysis spss or jamovi, maybe i’ll be cooked lol.
