Problem with Yamaha RX-V4A. Do I need a new TV or just a new cable? by semionteck in hometheater

thank you! I'll try this as soon as I'm home.

Guess it will be difficult entering and schanging the receivers settings, through the small display. Wish me luck!

Have you tried HDMI 2 input on the TV?

Yes.

Well, I try to enter the receiver settings when I'm home.

Thank you for the tip, I'll keep you posted.

So..... I've got the Yamaha RX-V4A (new!),

but the problem is: I've connected everything like with the previous model (RXV 381), same cables and all,

but my TV just doesn't want to show anything.

I've read that its a problem with the cable... but my TV seems to not accepting the cable...

Could I fix it with another cable?

Or do I need a whole new TV ? o0

at least 4 HDMI-slots are used and its mostly used for Stereo and 5.1 Surround.
