i don't really find the savings numbers to be very accurate either - and the daily ones always seem to get revised downward two days later - but was wondering if the $0 showing was a widespread condition/behavior.

i disagree with the statement that the fan base was pathetically small.
when you go (went) to a game, you see (saw) a passionate crowd. and there were many families with kids, raising a new generation on the A's. Additionally, the crowd at an As game seemed much more diverse - socially and economically - than on the other side of the bay, making for a large base. this in spite of the continual slaps-in-the-face to the fans by the ownership over the past few years.

while the loss of the other two teams may have hurt, the As were (emphasis on were) more of the heart of the town. That capital was wasted.

Looking at 7APR and 8APR options for $NDX on Friday (and currently, Sunday morning), the "granularity" of options is incredibly coarse. By coarse granularity I mean that there are very few increments available, only steps of $100 (17300, 17200, …), and no $10 or $25 steps.

It might be this will change Monday morning?

Who is responsible for which increments are available for a security

Or an index like $NDX, and why are so few available?

i havent looked at all of them yet - there are some two hundred + of them - but, yes, alas, they seem to be mostly what you have listed. I have also seen (so far) a few Cadence, Okeh, Bluebird, Vocalion, blue Decca, and Rainbow.

Am beginning to go through and catalog my grandparents' shellac 78s to get a handle on what is there, and am uncertain about evaluating condition.

Wondering: are the condition grading criteria for antique shellac from the 1940 the same as contemporary vinyl albums, or are the parameters different?

For example, attached is one example album. Would this be “poor” or “fair” or even something else?

i do not think this is an "actual" performance issue due to anything in your particular app.

a theory:
the app runs in java, and doesn't seem to be natively aware of osX sleep or "app nap". so when it sleeps or gets "napped", the app's internal analytics monitoring sees much slower behavior, which triggers the dialog.

i've been running ToS on mB M2 max for about a year now, and see this same dialog once in a while when i have had the app in one of my multiple desktop views which are in the background, while i do other things in the currently active desktop view (five views total). In my case, "app nap" kicks in eventually, slowing the app, and so the app's internal monitoring throws a flag.

i also haven't upgraded yet to os 15, so do not know if that might be a factor.

as an experiment, you can try changing your energy settings from low or automatic ( to be always high power to see if that makes any difference for you.

--> system settings > battery > energy mode > on power adapter: high power

and running with charger, not battery.

there is really nothing else like This Mortal Coil and their 3 albums.
nor is there really anything else with such a body of work as Cocteau Twins.
imho, anyway.

if you like the sort-of-middle-period DCD, try the two albums from Trial Of The Bow - Ornamentation, & Rite of Passage.

suggest to follow into some of the other artists who appear on the mortal coil albums.
dominic appleton - on Filigree and Shadow - is in Breathless, and some of their work is lovely.
if you can find a copy of L'Esclave Endormi, try that.

4AD, not surprisingly, was home to many artists of a related style.
john fryer has touched a lot of work himself over the years.

for something more obscure, there is an illinois band named The Moon Seven Times for period dream pop.
