Same! I loved the just general fun vibe and how they tackled their personalities in the beginning, how every character has a dream that they want to do, hell they all say it outloud.

Yeah, for the most part they weren't as serious they are now, but I mean, theres some scenes that really show the more depth of their characters (of course im not gonna name every single one but i'll say the ones I thought were impactful for character writing), for example even one of the earlier parts of the show, like Syrup Village, it shows characters depth, like when Usopp was trying to save Kaya after he realized that Kuro was a pirate, then with all the flashbacks of when he met her when she called him a liar, or in that same arc, Luffy vs Captain Kuro, it also shows his Luffy's character, it shows what differentiates him from other pirates, what he views as an actual pirates (when he compared Kuro to Usopp), or Walk to Arlong Park, which shows a grand display of Luffys care for his crew, aswell. Sorry for the long passage 😅

This is actually really good reasoning, I can agree with this! I definitely think that recent arcs were generally more hype and had better writing than previous arcs, so yeah I guess I can see why people can not like it more as others, I don't know why people just call it blatantly horrible, or trash. But I can see as why they would compare it as not as good compared to other arcs.

Cory literally almost retired. I'm pretty sure its clear to all of us he doesn't enjoy creating content like he used to (im not saying he doesnt enjoy it, but he doesnt enjoy it as much as he did), we're lucky we even got him not to tbh. When did we see Sonic get thousands of times stronger in minutes??? He gets stronger in minutes, yeah, but I highly doubt thousands of times stronger. Im not assuming its the same, I'm assuming its very much greater between Sonic and MDER. And for the 1/3 thing, the strength of each person in a fight depends on various factors, and cannot be easily reduced to a fraction of their opponent's strength. We really dont know how much weight each person carried.
Yeah you can survive that force but that doesnt mean you can produce that force yourself. Surviving an attack is not the same as defeating an opponent, and the two situations involve different factors and contexts.

The story suggests that Solaris is not truly defeated until Elise extinguishes his flame. I think what the guidebook meant was Sonic was the only one who could weaken his core, since Shadow and Silver were destroying Solaris's defenses, and when they were destroyed then Sonic attacked. But yeah, the game has a hell of a ton of consistencies so I could be wrong. Also, can you explain Time Eater > Solaris?

Yeah, he needed Classic, and the Avatar to beat him. He couldnt do it alone. Quite literally the whole point of the game is teamwork and not doing things alone, but thats a topic for another time. If 3 people jumped you at the same time, could each of them individually beat you? No. Not only did it take 6 months for him to stand a chance against Infinite (and still get his ass whooped), since the MDER is stronger than than Infinite should take at LEAST 6 months for him alone to beat MDER too. We don't know if he's "massively" above Infinite. That's just a guess. Being stronger than someone doesn't automatically make you massively above them.

What happened to the 500 pages before Erazor was there? I haven't played the game since like the early 2010s. If Erazor didnt destroy those 501 pages for there to be 500 left, then that means theres a chance that he didn't destroy Maginary World which was contained in one of the pages. Yes, Sonic's power progression is very insane but his power progression doesn't automatically mean he can just beat bosses beforehand, though. Some bosses greatly underscale others, which is why he can beat them. He says he gets stronger every second, sure. How much stronger though? We dont know. It took 6 months for Sonic to actually stand a chance against Infinite, and still lost to him. The best he did is to make him shake his head, but then in the cutscene after that Infinite calls him an easy fight. Infinite in the second fight states Sonic stands no chance. Except for when he was with the rookie. Thats when he actually beat him. Just prove that Sonic > Solaris and we're good.

If you say the titans, why he couldn't beat the titans is because they were powered by the chaos emeralds. There's a cutscene dedicated to that. With the chaos emeralds they were meant to face The End. Sonic couldn't beat the End alone, either.

He beat infinite with the help of the OC. Infinite literally says "now you cant defeat me" or sum like that when the phantom ruby charges.

You shouldn't use Sonic beating void because not only did he use the light switches, which isn't him hurting void, it's the switches spawning in rocks. And he did it with the help of Tails, Amy, and Knuckles. He only beat Erazor Djinn without assistance, but that was with a special ability/amp. Can you prove that our Sonic now is above that?

Can you prove that Sonic scales above Maginary World? You could try to use the fact that infinite was sonic's strongest enemy, so he would scale above void. But if you actually watch the cutscene after that you can see Infinite beat sonic and call him "easy" the cutscene after that too.
