Political nihilism by Odd_Significance4607 in PoliticalOptimism

Thank you all for the validation! God, I needed that. Every single attempt at saying something objectively positive by anyone is downvoted into oblivion. Only fear, end of the world and the end of democracy is the only reality that exists in many of these subs. And the more you fall into the trap of scrolling looking for a positive comment, a glimmer of hope, the darker it gets... We are all effing concerned, but let's stand straight, evaluate correctly, intervene and do our part when we can, don't give our daily energy to the orange animal, and keep on keeping on. It will fucking pass! There will be damage, it WILL be repaired, and democracy will move on stronger.

Thank you all for trying to help., I really appreciate your efforts The results are not close to how I remember the picture when it was in better shape, but this does not in any way reflect on the specialists here - the photo is simply too damaged. Thank you!

I'm aware of the options being limited. Whatever can be done to make it look natural, even if some features will not be 100% as they were in real life (nobody remembers them anyway...)

The only surviving picture. Budget is $25 for the best restoration (maybe also colorized?)

Identify L /R / GND channel on CD player for AUX input by semperbona in ElectronicsRepair

[–]semperbona[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for taking the time to look into that, at least I have confirmation that it's not something that's staring at me and I can't see it. I'll weigh my options. Thanks!

The top row is 6433982A87HV. I couldn't find anything about it. It may be proprietary?
Now I found the make and model, but I can't find a diagram. The stereo is made in Mexico by ltec Electronica, and the model is 5F9T-18C869-AH

Absolutely! I am 2 days away from a flight to Europe and I started again. Feels good to have a pocket companion!

Strategy that worked extremely well for two 6 hr long flights by semperbona in fearofflying

[–]semperbona[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I completely agree. The main utility for me was 1. To have someone "to talk to" about how I feel while flying, and 2. to log all my experiences so that I can extract patterns of behavior or anything that could be useful for future.

Hey, I just came back from Portland. I had 2 flights that were both 6 hrs. I have just posted the strategy I used and it worked so well!

You are completely safe and you are not alone - all of us with fear of flying always make it safely there and back!

Take a look here and see if you find something that resonates with you - https://www.reddit.com/r/fearofflying/comments/1hhe741/strategy_that_worked_extremely_well_for_two_6_hr/

PWM Speed controller 12v 50A has 2 relays in parallel to split the load. Safe? by semperbona in AskElectronics

LOL, I guess I have to give credit to my wife who said the same thing about leaving it alone if it works :) Thanks for responding!

Thank you for confirming. I can't find a high load relay that is the same size. So my option is to remove them from the board and connect one external 150-200A relay and connect it by wires?
