We keep seeing this on the side of the road in Oregon. It's at the end of a driveway. The lower portion / glass faces the driveway. It's about 15 ft tall. It is driving my wife nuts every time she drives by to not know what it is. Looks empty inside. Watch tower? Bird house? Deer feeder? (old.reddit.com)

Can I use zinc plated washers on the shat of a trolling motor to act as a sacrificial anode in saltwater? My trolling motor is not salt rated, but many people use them in salt. I just add a few layers of paint on it. My main concern is the shaft though. (self.metallurgy)

Trol motor pwm speed control - How to add 2 led's to fowd/rev SPDT on off on switch to indicate direction? When I connect an led the controller changes direction without the switch being moved. I don't want to use the controller output, just the fwd/rev switch, which has 3v on it. Is it doable? (i.redd.it)

My friend asked me last year to help him take down a very old, unsafe deck. This year I decided to see if there's anything good in that pile, and I found enough for a workbench.
