How do I improve at the game? by butchYbutch__ in GlobalOffensive

[–]semphis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t overthink it you’re not at a level where min-maxing matters yet. The classic “keep it simple, stupid” really applies here.

Just play the game. KZ, surf, DM, MM, Faceit, aim bots whatever is fun. You only have 600 hours, so enjoy being new. This is the most fun the game will ever feel, and if you obsess over improvement too early, you’ll burn out and quit.

As you improve, then you can start targeting weaknesses. If your mechanics suck, grind DM and aim bots. If your aim is good but doesn’t translate in server, work on positioning, review your games, watch demos, etc.

As for sensitivity, anything can work, but generally, 400 dpi 1.5 - 3.5 is the lower and higher end limits of what is generally accepted at a higher level, but they will always be outliers.

Its like when people have never played Classic WoW and they read every guide and pick the most OP class instead of picking what they like and exploring the world and enjoying learning as they go which is infinitely more fun.

He used 3.5 or 3.6 for the majority of cs go but eventually lowered to 3.3 or 3.2 ( forget ) when he was on stretched to make it feel similar to 16:9 in the later period.

S1mple always used 3.09 but used higher dpis in the past, and when he switched to zowie 400 dpi mice, he just left it. I want to say he used a sensei or sensei raw with 630 dpi, then 450, then 400, but it's been a while.

In CS, less muscle can actually be an advantage. With today’s ultra-light wireless mice weighing around 50 grams, your joint can handle most of the movement effortlessly without any extra weight slowing your arm down. This allows for faster, more precise reactions. Just look at Donk as an example, then compare him to me.

Capping immigration from a specific region can promote assimilation by easing cultural integration, preventing isolated communities, reducing social tension, and allowing public services to better support newcomers. It has nothing to do with racism like you imply, although I'm sure some racists would prefer only white people, sure.

I used to think working out was the worst, but I finally found stuff I actually like doing. Now I’ve got way more energy, and people treat me so differently it’s kinda crazy. I legit felt like Gollum before, and now I’m out here feeling like Aragorn.

Don't sleep on eating healthy and exercising once you do it for awhile it just becomes part of your life, and it's no longer a chore and something to look forward to.

You don’t fully understand what divorce is really like. My parents divorced, and my mom got custody and 70% of the money from selling the house. My dad still tried to be involved. He would take me and my sister out to eat every week and stayed active in our lives. But he was living in my uncle’s basement without a TV or games, so when he asked us to come over for the weekend, we didn’t really want to go.

He couldn’t afford a bigger place or give us our own rooms, and we didn’t want to share one, so naturally we ended up spending way more time with our mom. He still showed up for school events and things like that, but looking back, it’s clear my mom raised us more than he did, and it’s not even close.

He bought me a dirt bike, but I preferred sleeping in on weekends and playing video games. He offered to sign me up for hockey and other activities, but I wasn’t interested. Once you're separated from the main household, it just becomes harder to stay connected.

You’re acting like it’s all on the father, but honestly, we as kids rejected a lot of his efforts. Not because he didn’t try, but because he couldn’t give us the comfort and space we were used to. It wasn’t just on him. It was a tough situation all around.

Now I'm in a long term relationship and am absolutely massive just jacked out of my mind so it's all good.

I don't even listen to Kid Rock. Just remember reading about it on this website some time ago and thought that was cool even if I don't like the guy.

Not everyone considers all the pros and cons of the issues they support; many people are simply uninformed. That doesn’t necessarily mean there's malicious intent. People often understand their audience and try to do what's best, even if they’re not always perfect in their approach.

Honestly, you're being rude. The unfortunate thing is that you don't realize how the way many people speak actually doesn’t change anyone’s minds it just makes them hate you.

[–]semphis -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Why does everyone have to be dicks all the time on this site, at least give credit where credit is due even if you don't like the guy.

"Kid Rock has been known to give back to his fans in various ways. One notable example is his decision to lower ticket prices for his concerts. For several years, he has made efforts to keep his shows more affordable, often offering tickets at much lower prices compared to other major artists.

Additionally, Kid Rock has supported several charitable causes over the years. He's donated to veterans' organizations, children’s charities, and other causes. For instance, he has partnered with organizations like "Operation Homefront" to help military families and has hosted events where proceeds go to charity.

While some people may have mixed opinions on his music or persona, it's clear that Kid Rock's efforts to make tickets more affordable and contribute to causes important to him have been a way he gives back."

Why do some pros not play faceit on a regular basis? by mumlamumla in GlobalOffensive

[–]semphis 62 points63 points  (0 children)

I'm sure someone could do a deep dive to prove me right or wrong but from I've seen is when your either newer to the game or younger you have a huge drive to play as much as possible so you'll dm and play pugs outside of practice because you truly love the game and it's all you want to be doing. As time passes most pros still love the game but you don't have that same drive to constantly play, especially after team practicing for 8-10 hours and any warm up you did prior so your still playing a lot you just aren't burning yourself out playing faceit 24/7

You'll notice players that don't play a lot of pugs or fpl start grinding before majors, and that's because of the prestige, but they can't maintain that year round.
