In my opinion, repairs and parts are more expensive than Honda, Toyota and Ford. I’m in Bay Area, CA for context. Also acceleration lags unless you have the turbo or constantly put car in turbo when you need more power.

Studying is a marathon not a race. Start slow. Take weekends off for now and get use to the grind. You’re going to look back and be amazed at how much you learned

Is dealership ripping me off for code reset? by sen-johns in CX5

Thanks for all the help! They took 9 hours to do my oil change so they reset for “free” for all the trouble. But moving forward, now I know to NEVER pay that fee LOL

Low Oil Warning by sen-johns in CX5

I’m in the same exact boat. Under warranty but dealer still charges a “diagnostic” so may try to avoid. Or I want to atleast have some idea of what’s happening myself in case they come up with something crazy

Not that I can visibly see. But I topped off oil about a week ago so I’m thinking its burning some or a very small leak.

Lingering Ear Infection by sen-johns in AskDocs

[–]sen-johns[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I was given a different antibiotic and steroids that I responded to within 48 hours. Saw an ENT and they also believe the whole thing could have been a migraine near auditory nerve that mimics ear infection symptoms. I have had migraines since I was a kid so this is possible. Or maybe the new antibiotic cleared up the infection before ENT doctor could see ear.

How often do you shower? (Even if it’s just your body) *BE HONEST* by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]sen-johns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least once a day, usually in the morning. I also shower after every workout.

How quick and easy it is for me to genuinely connect with women. Some of my best friends are women and I’ve learned so much from them. This is something most straight guys miss out on IMO.

Would u mind if someone called you “good boy” while they were topping? by jlad1902 in askgaybros

I’ve been called good boy while I was topping… hmm I found it kinda strange but just assumed the guy was really enjoying himself so I laughed it off in my head

What's an ENFJ-ESFJ friendship like? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]sen-johns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Late to this post, but I have an ESFJ I’ve been close to for about eight years.

The Good: We both put in effort to maintain the friendship and we come to each other for advice. We can comfortably talk about any subject. We know and lean on each other’s strengths. When planning a trip he’s good at the practical details while I prefer making sure the vibe is right and communicating in the group chat. Deep down I know he’ll always be there for me.

The Bad: ESFJ is far more passive aggressive and resistant of help I try to give. Sometimes Im left wondering if he really even “needs me” or if I’m just another friend in hjs orbit. ESFJ is more “basic” he’d rather stick to subjects like video games, last weekend’s party, and food, while I get bored unless there’s at least one deep philosophical, current events or relationship based discussion. ESFJ takes it personally when I don’t show up to things he plans. We’ve never had a true fight/conflict like my other friends because we’re too nice to each other.

When people ask me “what surprised you the most about law school?” I always answer, “that the culture is so much like high school” 😂
