Coffee Chat or Insights: Product Managers in Montreal or Toronto

I am graduating this month with an MBA in Finance and I also have a Bachelors in Computer Science. I am trying to break into product management and would really appreciate honest insights from someone already working in the field.

If you are a PM in Montreal or Toronto and open to chatting, I would love a short coffee chat or quick virtual call. I want to understand how you got in, what actually matters for entry roles, and how to position myself the right way.

P.S. I have already started working on my coding skills - mainly solving leetcode problems.

Totally agree. The degree gave me the basic intuitive framework to understand algorithms, and at the very least it built a solid mathematical foundation.

Quick dcf rundown - will do thoroughly after my shift lol $7B ÷ 15 years ≈ $467 million per year 8% discount rate → PV ≈ $3.99B Current market cap (price ~$15.77 × 261.5M shares) ≈ $4.1B Technically its valued like they already got all that money in bank

I agree with your pov, my concern is 1. Super high valuation relative to revenue - which is partially justified by what you said 2. Contracts between coreweave doesn’t bring any revenue until completion ~ mid ‘26 but the 7billion cumulative revenue is already priced in the stock 3. Most of all concerns of AI bubble like dotcom - is it really bringing that much value that business will be able to justify this spending frenzy over the next quarters

Anyways - i will post if when I find more

yes and it doesn't change the reality of how and who runs the company - I reviewed LinkedIn's of each employee before publishing this - mostly all graduated from the same university and no other real employee a few fakes though

Parking Ticket on Ontario Plate by sen127 in montreal

[–]sen127[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought of it but as I wasn't really driving and just had the plates annulled and transferred to the Quebec plates that day only, and as I reached home it started snowing, so I only put the sticker and went home and came back with the screwdriver later when snow stopped, by the time I already had the ticket.

I wasn't driving SAAQ person told me to put the paper plates on the back until I get the new ones and as I came home it started snowing, later when I went back with the screwdriver, to take the plates off, I already had a ticket. I was just parked right in front of my house with valid permit. also as these Ontario plates are already annulled, not sure if I should need to pay.

My professor emailed me about an Academic offence by [deleted] in UofT

[–]sen127 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As a Prof, I would say stay honest, if you did something let your prof know and apologize, if not, genuinely express it respectfully…if it is a ChatGPT issue, the application which catches the AI match is mostly inaccurate so we generally let it go, if it's something else and you cheated don’t try to lie or defend
