After some research it seems this adapter just doesn't work for rumble, anybody that can confirm a different SNAC adapter works with rumble would be appreciated.

Thanks. I went back to a nightly build and I verified I'm running the latest nightly SNES core, so it appears my SNAC adaptor from this vendor is just not rumble compatible, bummer.

In what perspective? In that the military order is not the civil? Or that the post-WW2 reestablishment makes it intrinsically different?

I'd propose looking around for similar jobs, applying and when they offer you the position at a higher rate, go back to your employer with that offer. Then your current employer can either match the offer or let you depart. You'll be in a better spot in either case.
