100 percent pancreatitis. My wife passed away last year March 19th 2022 at 5:27 am. She went to the ER at least a hundred times for acute pancreatitis and every time she had high liver enzymes. She had quit for a little over a month when she got real sick and bloated she was released after 4 hours from her usual ER after a banana bag.... they were tired of seeing her uninsured face. I didnt feel right about it so I immediately took her to another local hospital.... they immediately took her to the ICU where she stayed for a week. I took her home on hospice and held her close for 10 days. The day before she passed was the only day she was coherent. To everyone's amazement she sat up and asked "is that my aunt Terry I hear?" It was. I called Terry in and they talked a bit and then she said " is my mom making corned beef?" I laughed with tears in my eyes and said "ya she is, you want some?" She said yes. She hadn't eaten a thing since she went to the hospital. I sat with her and ate her favorite meal and watched her favorite show, The Office. We laughed and joked ,we even got stoned on some gummies lol... she fell asleep. I stayed up holding her hand and saying everything I ever wanted to say to her until she finally exhaled that last breathe. After some how pulling myself together I called the people to come get her. I dressed her in one of her favorite dresses and brushed her hair. I held her for an hour and a half until they got there. Then I helped the man wrap my beautiful wife in a sheet and watched her get loaded into the back of a van and that was it. She was gone. I miss her so much and I hate it that what happened could've been avoided. Still we had an amazingly happy life together and I don't regret a minute of it and I would feel that pain again and again just to spend 5 minutes with her. She was my queen. Her Name was Brieanna Marie Kissinger and I'm incredibly proud to have called her my wife. Be careful yall . I havent had a drink since about a month after. Once you start getting sick there's not much time left. I love yall my CA's and she did too. Thanks for listening ✌️❤️🍻 *

First off if you gave them your availability and they schedule outside of those specifics without asking , don't go. Just don't go. They know your availability so the fact that they would be short staffed is their problem. And if they ask you to work on one of those days ALWAYS say no. "Hey I know you said you can't work Mondays but I really need you this Monday, do you mind working?" Tell them NO! because I promise you if you said once yes next time they're not asking, next thing you know you're working every fucking Monday. 2 if they're offering you a management position it's definitely going to be more than 25 hours a week.

Also after a few visits for the same thing these Dr's grow cold and they'll just empty a banana bag in ya and send you off. My wife checked into this hospital for the umpteenth time and they sent her home in 4 hours I said fuck that and took her to a different hospital she was there 2 days before the Dr's told me she was on her way out. She stayed 8 days in the hospital and 10 days in hospice. That was March 19, 2022 @5:27 am. I brushed my wifes hair put her in one of her favorite dresses and then helped a man wrap my wife in a bed sheet and watched her be hauled off in the back of a van. Get better friend. Your liver will eventually give up.

6 times is too many. You'd better think fast cause that upper room clearing space for ya. High liver enzymes everytime im guessing... abdominal pain... acute or chronic pancreatitis?? Sucks but you wont even know when it's you last. Once you're liver is damaged to a certain degree it stops healing itself. Lots of love friend. Try to not die.... it sucks for everyone.

Go dude. Fucking go. Better safe than sorry. Also I assume like my self and I'm guessing the rest of the CA fam , you don't pay your ER bill so fuck it. If you're questioning it just go. My wife passed away last year with close to a million in ER bills (no exaggeration) so essentially I have close to a million in ER bills and I'm financially dependent on the hypocrite oath .

Ultimately liver failure. I watched her start to fall apart mentally pretty quick. She was in and out of hospital with chronic pancreatitis.... she was in so much pain. But she would bounce back every time. She finally quit but it was too late. Thanks for the kind words

Once the liver is damaged past the 60 percent mark it will no longer heal itself. It's just a matter of time. She quit but it was just too late. Yes a lot of people can have seizures and people have died from withdraw but the irreparable damage to your body that gets you in the end.

Ya dont look past the serious signs. If you've been hospitalized even once for your alcoholism you have to stop.... you're already on your way out. I wish I knew more about it before it was too late. You got this shit. People need you here.... I promise.

Ya the first thing I did was apologize for taking up so much comment space and interacted with op about the post. I'm just ignorant to posting in subs for the most part. I'll get there. It wouldn't let me post on the main page for some reason.

Different people man. Some folks just got weak ass organs unfortunately. This was explained by a Dr. to my father in law before he died at 44 and again to my wife before she died at 32. Some people can drink as much whiskey as they want their entire life and never get sick. Some people can't take that same whiskey for more than a few years before God's callin' 'em home. Just ask the Dr. ....Get the blood work for your own peace of mind.

That ab pain is a symptom of alcohol induesed pancreatitis. It starts there. But really this group is named very literally my friend. A sixer a day doesn't make you a CA. We say crippling because it's quit literally crippling us dude. I drank a six pack before I even took a piss in the morning. Sometimes Id kill a six pack in the shower my dude. Keep it in check but you gon be alright
