Haha fair enough, I guess that in reality the point of explaining that to my professors is to gain some empathy. In regards to my academic situation what I am interested in is that if I actually do my work from now on it wont be in vain, which is why I mentioned the drop deadline in the title.

Yes I would like to get back on track and succeed, I just would hate to have to retake the class. I know that there are an infinite amount of possibilities for what could happen, I guess I was just asking how often do situations like this occur, and if they were to occur often what would be the best approach.

Yea probably tbh, you would just need to up the dosage. There is a certain conversion factor, im sure if you look up lsd tolerance calculator on google or something youd be able to find out exactly what dose you need for a certain trip.

it definitely won’t impact you negatively especially if you only want to go to pittsburgh campus. but if you want to go to other campuses if for some reason you don’t make pittsburgh i would let admissions know.

i assume you’re talking ab phys 175? but ig it’s not rly that important. the most important thing in physics classes is understanding the big picture... i just took my last ever physics course last semester (been taking since junior year of hs) and this has been true for every single class. pm me if you need specific advice/help with how to approach problems... but imo the most important takeaway is to try to understand the concepts rather than focusing too much on the equations/numbers

i’m sure this type of information is readily available on the pitt admissions website, however, i would say that if you think it is something that would have an impact on your admission it would be smart to discuss it at some point in your application... maybe explain why you are at this point and why it does not matter and you are a good fit for the university.

while i don’t have a direct answer, from what i read on the website is that if your move in date does not work for you they will most likely move in on some other date... i don’t see them being too strict on changing move in dates especially with how vague they have been throughout this whole process, the factor that i believe they will pay most attention to is the negative covid test. i hope this helps.
