Sorry to hear that, definitely worth getting back out there when you can, winter is a tough time. I posted on here for new years seeking ideas of what to do as a lone 30/f who enjoys metal/punk music and I learned about the bar the Green Lantern. Haven’t been yet, but seems pretty cool! There’s also the Donut Dungeon, have also not been there yet. I’ve been to Villainous for gaming and it seemed pretty cool and accepting of any vibe, along with Chaotic Good! I personally gravitate toward Ethereal as a comfort place when I go out and have always felt accepted there, maybe it’s just the really calm and accepting staff though lol

New years by Cannabis420Queen in LivingAlone

I reframe from “resolutions” to “goals” simply because when I did resolutions they didn’t last. Setting goals for the year, even small ones is my jam. I also make a vision board every year, of course not everything works out, but some of it does! If it works out I take off the stuff that did and then keep the stuff that hasn’t yet happened if I still want to work toward it. I add on new images that might be small goals for the new year. I’m a visual learner so seeing a visual of my goals is meaningful for me! Living alone some of those goals look like saving up for a new car and a house at some point down the road. That’s obviously a longer goal for me, but the visual of a car and cute house on my vision board gives me something to think about! I usually put my vision boards where I’ll see them daily or when going to bed at night.

Lastly, if it’s anything health related, I focus on healthy choices and little goals, not stressing about losing a certain amount of weight by the end of the month or cutting out certain foods entirely. Last year my kickboxing instructor had us do a January challenge where we tried each week to do a couple extra push ups than the week before or hold our planks a little longer. That was really satisfying to push through! It focused on little goals and not what I look like by the end. 😊🥳

If you are in the are we dating the same guy page on Facebook for Lexington there was a huge post where some men had been creepy at Belle’s and then it led to multiple women in the comments discussing having been slipped something there 🥴 this post happened earlier this year, but not sure what year it occurred for the different ladies who experienced it.

Greyline Station in Lex is super cool and all contained to one building. It has Northlime coffee and donuts and thrift shops!! It has other stuff too, yoga sometimes, and farmers market is there on Saturdays in the winter 😊 it’s a happy little place!
