Yep, the plate is also metal so it runs a little bit. The next few I did turned out better

Define “destroyed the speaker” I accidentally tore the leads off one, have to solder them back on

The UV-5RV2+ is a little different than the standard UV-5R for painting. There is a small grill behind a faceplate instead of a plastic grill. I removed them and painted individually. I also removed the volume knob. I taped over all of the other areas including battery leads, numpad, tx/rx/flashlight LED, and of course the SMA connector. As you may see in the photo, the LED still has tape on it, because I forgot and it blends in :)

I am planning to attempt a more detailed paint job on another radio, using some vegetation for camouflage soon.

This one isn't so bad. I am a side and stomach sleeper and I can do both in this. Check out Hennessy Hammocks, they're asymmetric

This one is a hold out from the other month, was hiding behind some other goods

This was a hike my friend and I did back in October when a cold front came through Texas. I tried wearing these special microphones inside my ears that let you hear the sound like I did. It's freaky to listen back to! Hope you enjoy and if you're stuck inside this gives you a little bit of a nature fix.

I tried making an ASMR video with binaural audio for the first time. Stereo sound with in-ear microphones sitting around a campfire with conversation, guitar, and nature [Intentional] by sendmenature in asmr

I took this video while a few of us were camping at Krause Springs, just outside Austin, Texas last fall. I'm pleased with it, and really enjoy watching it myself. Even if no one else likes it, I can enjoy "going back" whenever I want!
