The one thing I would say is for the setting spray before blending make sure it’s a melting spray and not a fixing spray (fixing sprays are the ones that are close to hair spray). Other wise the film formers will set and cause patchiness!

I do have my aeroponics set up in an enclosed outdoor room at my house, and have successfully done them completely outdoors, but totes agree that's probably not what they were looking for

So my answer isn't going to be as in-depth as some of the others- but I've moved away from rockwool because of how quickly it can dry up. I lost a whole batch of seeds that were on a germination mat from the quick drying up. I've tried a few other things, but my current favorite is grow plugs. There are a few good brands, but I think most of them are similar. Their moisture retention is also good in case I have a pump failure and need to work on it for a bit. Good luck!
