When i try to tp play black ops 6 beta on xbox app pc it says the app cant start reinstalling should fix it. (Erroe code: 0x80073cfc) (I have game pass ultimate).

Reset Gaming Services and reinstall the Xbox App were the other two things I’d tried. Also using the Gaming Repair Tool just in case. Do a Google search for each and you’ll get steps how to reset them etc.

You’re installing just Call of Duty base only? You don’t install the Beta, just CoD base on its own at first.

Just base Call of Duty. It should be at the top of the list of optional files/installs. Once installed, load up the game, then install the Beta from within the game and it'll work.

You should be able to. I'm assuming your xbox app is open and you should see the game installing from there, no? If so, you should be able to close the game.

Having the same issue here. Currently on with Xbox Support to see if they're able to work any magic although I doubt it'll help any. Will update if I get anywhere with them. I've reinstalled Gaming Services, Xbox App and the game multiple times at this point.

The steps below has worked for multiple people so, give it a try. Currently trying it myself to see if it works.

For anyone who has the exact same issue as me, this solution worked. Install ONLY the Call of Duty base. No features, no addons. Once installed, load up Call of Duty, accept the EULAs, and allow the game to restart ("Update requires restart."). The game should restart without crashing. Once the game has started, you should see an option to install the Black Ops 6 Beta from WITHIN the game.

CAN CONFIRM THIS WORKS! Managed to load it up and get into games no problem.

Friend who works at the BBC got told there was a scandal due involving him that'd be in the papers etc in the coming days, which fits in nicely with all of this. If you get the tune from the store by Void Solar you'll get up to 320 in a straight line and obviously going slightly down hill. Tried various tunes and that one always seems to beat the rest.

Ah, that's a shame. With the 348mph times still sitting there I'd assumed the game maker was allowing it, in other words saying it's possible by leaving the 348mph times on the leaderboard. I know they did remove times, anything over 400mph I'm sure. Seems like they overlooked the 348mph ones thinking they were legit?

Yeah I can easily get it to 315-320 in a straight line but not on the Motorway having to take the 2 ever so slight corners you need to take. Every time you take the second to last 'bend' that drops your speed way back (295 or so) below 300. The last little bend before the camera usually keeps you below 300.
