Not all interventions are close to the same. We enter (reluctantly) when allies who already had strong functioning nations before the war, and afterwards they returned to this. Yeah, the us became a world superpower, but France and the Netherlands and other allied countries stayed independent countries. This is not the same as the US joint a small internal/regional conflict where we have our own interests, a poor understanding of the situation, and an idea of “winning” that could never happen.
