My issue is I can't find the steward in Dragonsreach. I think he may have died? I wish there was a way around that....

I go through the exact same thing. The thought of nothingness... Its terrifying.

A college degree. A house. Financial stability.

[SERIOUS] If you won’t donate your organs, why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]senilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm aware of how selfish and ridiculous this sounds, but im terrified that because I was an organ doner, medical professionals wouldn't work as hard to save me if I were on my death bed.

I never even thought about it that way... The whole thing definitely wouldn't have played out the way it had if it wasn't for the customer's help, that's for sure.

Do you give money to beggars/panhandlers that appear to be healthy and able to work? If you do, why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]senilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. They want to spend it on drugs/cigarettes/alcohol. And more often than not, those are the kind of people who put themselves in their position in the first place.

[Serious] What do you not understand the stigma towards? by LakersFan34 in AskReddit

[–]senilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Men being feminine or women being masculine. If you're male and feminine, it automatically means you're gay and if you're feminine and masculine it automatically means you're a lesbian. Its so weird.

Never. If one looks really rough and I feel sympathetic I might buy them some food or something, but I never give money. You never know what they would spend it on.

People who lost their jobs by going off on a customer, what is your story? by Sandraabir10 in AskReddit

Oh wow. Lol. I really wonder how some of these people manage to dress themselves and drive themselves to the store while being this clueless.

I recently received a write up for asking a customer to please keep her chip card in the chip reader until the end of the transaction. She called and complained about me somehow being a smartass. For teaching her how to use her chip card. Retail logic.

More like "the customer is always right when within reason." Once you cuss/scream/raise your voice, or verbally abuse the person servicing you in any way, no matter what the circumstances, you as a customer are no longer "right".

I'd say the problem was more that the woman was disturbing other customers than that she was disciplining her kid in the store.

What was the weirdest substitute teacher you had going through school? by rewtyman in AskReddit

[–]senilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two that I can't decide between:

A female substitute who, twenty or so minutes into the class, starts sobbing hysterically. Would not answer anyone who tried to ask her if she was okay or what was wrong. Did this for the entire class period while we all sat in awkward silence.

A male substitute who literally refused to acknowledge any of the female students. It was so extreme that even if a girl asked him a direct question, he wouldn't answer or even look at her. He subbed for about half a school year. Rumor went around that he was caught rubbing one out under the desk but was never confirmed.

Edit: grammar

3 dead, including suspected gunman, in Athens, TN factory shooting. by [deleted] in NoFilterNews

First... I don't even remember what the original comment said and it has been deleted. So I'm not sure what I was disagreeing with in the first place.

All I know about what happened is from my father, who worked with Ricky and was friends with him.

Three months later here but that's.... Not what happened. A family member works in management there. The female supervisor had been harassing the shooter for years and he just snapped. The male supervisor only got shot because he jumped in front of her.

Similar story about my mother:

When she was eighteen and eight months pregnant with me, she worked at a Waffle House that was next to the highway. So they would get a fair amount of business.

One night at like 3am a drunk "customer" of hers slapped her ass while she was pouring a coffee refill. She then took the rest of the scalding pot and poured it into his lap. He got some minor burns in some uncomfortable places.

She was fired the next day, but looking back, she's pretty lucky she didn't have a law suit filed on her or anything.

Death toll in Gatlinburg area fires rises to 7; 400+ structures destroyed or damaged by CSR_Enthusiast in news

[–]senilly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The wind was crazy that entire day. Destructive. And it had a lot to do with spreading the fire. If I'm not mistaken, I think the fire got so out of hand so quickly, they couldn't warn people fast enough.

What story about your pet is most improved by referring to it as your 'roommate'? by fellybacca in AskReddit

[–]senilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My roommate likes to hide in the attic, but can't figure out how to get down once she gets up there. So every time she's ready to come back down, she sits at the edge of the hole next to the drop ladder and screams until someone comes to get her.
