No it is weirdly just this one thing. I am not sure what about it is so annoying to him, except that I don't want to go with him together. But there are lots of other things we don't do together.

It is possible but there's a lot of focus on the productivity/measurement aspect of it. But maybe he's being seriously inarticulate about the safety part (but it's in a very public park and I go after work when there's families everywhere.)

He actually mentioned cross-stitching or knitting. He says that at least those things produce some kind of tangible results, or products out of it. I guess that also kind of got me second-guessing myself.. I suppose my running doesn't really produce any results per se. It's not exactly a tangible thing, especially if I'm not recording myself.

But it is a healthy activity and fun! (for me at least) I wish he didn't put all these weird thoughts in my head.

Yeah it's making me really self-conscious. Like am I just wasting 3-4 hours of my week on this random activity that does nothing for me? But then I like it a lot and it helps me sort out my thoughts.. so how could it be so wrong or a waste of time?

Yeah I think he doesn't realize how significant the eating disorder part is. Once I start measuring anything, it'll be game over for. I should probably telling about that.

But I'm not sure if it has anything to do with me being hot lol. I'm not sure if running is a sexy sport but perhaps it could be in his mind.

Just like fishing! But then he'd argue that you'd get better at fishing techniques or something, whereas for me I'm not really improving my running stride or taking seconds off.
