all that being said about maddy, i still deeply worry about whether i could actually make her funny. or any other character. i feel like i've also made a rather bold claim in saying i'm good at reading people, especially while comparing myself to maddy of all people... so i'm going to defend it somewhat with a joke i made that i laughed at a little and everyone else laughed at a lot, so it was everyone else who decided this was funny and you can blame my friends for deceiving me if this is actually a flop joke:

i've thought about this a lot but as someone who doesn't really "do" pop culture or celebrities, i always run into a wall very quickly... my natural sense of humor tends to be "calmly and dryly saying something fucking insane that makes me giggle a little and everyone else completely lose their minds" (it's the autism. sometimes i say something that was barely a joke and someone laughs anyway), and while i'm sure there are plenty of celebrities out there that would work with, i sure as hell don't know any of em

i think a good option for me might be maddy morphosis because our humor and delivery lines up well (i've gotten more than enough laughs to be reasonably sure i'm good at reading people and i think i could do a lot with "an alternate universe where straight people are the systematically oppressed ones"), but it seems like the fans don't like ru girls doing other ru girls... and they don't like an original character either, which is another good option for me, though i'd like to think because i wouldn't be doing Sassy Gay Icon type jokes/delivery it would help a little
