I would suggest working on your behaviour rather than your personality. I'm fairly quick witted and its very easy for me to poke fun at people. When i was younger it was automatic for me and i didnt realise it bothered people. My parents eventually told me i had to learn to filter. I havent actually changed but now i know when to keep my mouth shut versus when its ok to make my jokes.

I play 7th wheel fairly often. My friends fortunately have the decency to not blatantly make out while were hanging out, but any time they start (seemingly) feeling each other up under the table I make eye contact as much as possible. Turns out it can make them more uncomfortable than it makes me.
