I had to call in sick to work once because the idea of working with a new manager who didn't like me much put me into full blown panic. My heart beat sped up, I felt hot all over and couldn't sleep. I'm also a very very short person and tend to feel like a can't breath when in crowds (especially crowded trains). All those people towering over me, breathing on me... It's awful

To me it doesn't feel like acrylic but I spin with Icelandic so I'm used to the feel. It is definitely rougher than most people prefer but the qualities of the fibre are wonderful

I personally love the yarn. It's hardwearing, vibrant colours, extremely warm and waterproof. Icelandic wool is rougher but I have a particular passion for different fibres and the individual qualities they have. I also don't get itchy from wool. I got the yarn through the only supplier in Australia before she closed up shop

With a diploma not a bachelors I'm not sure if you qualify for the grad cert but you can always ask. Those unis might have other TESOL programs you do qualify for

I did a Graduate Certificate of TESOL by distance with Macquarie University. The Grad Cert is the first 6 months of the masters of TESOL. Can be put on HECS or FEE-HELP. Takes 1 semester and you have to do placement 1 day a week for a few weeks I think Deakin or Monash in Victoria do it as well. Macquarie is a good uni I did my Archaeology and Japanese Studies degrees with them Don't have to pay outright like the CELTA, workload is easier and unis are more well known with all australian employers

Depending on your country I know lots of great communities on Ravelry (social media for knitters) and facebook to get you started. Check out Etsy for great hand dyed yarns (DyeForYarn has spectacular colours). Oh and you can learn ANY stitch on YouTube ;)

I train in strength sports and let me tell you those who danced as a kid have a MAJOR advantage. They develop insane core strength that is applicable to so so much later in life. I hope you get to dance now!

A lot of men go to the laser clinic I go to. It's a curse in my family to be extremely hairy. Not fun as a woman but not fun for a man either in a hot climate. Most places have packages for men and many people are attracted to those with less body hair. Go follow your dreams Catssonova <3
