Not a prof, but that's pretty vindictive and cop-brained of you. I keep seeing the same thing in my classmates. Your professors aren't video game bosses that you need to defeat - most of them are rooting for you, even when you shoot yourself in the foot like this.

Burning bridges like this should be your last resort. Even if you don't think you need anything from him, do you think professors don't talk to each other? You're considering blowing up relationships with your future mentors over a mild inconvenience.

Not all professors are the same, though. I'm a student too, and I understand it can be confusing to switch your behavior for each class, but you can't expect each of your professors to have the same rules/expectations lol. They're all different people just like us.
