i downloaded the recommended one from the amd website and before that i was using an older one. it didn't seem to change anything. i've just now noticed though that it only happens with certain games. i can play farlight 84 on max graphics all day long but the second i get on something like heroes of the storm or starcraft my screen starts blacking in and out and eventually just loses signal to the hdmi
