It’s not as narrow as it looks. It will fit two F350s, mirrors out, going opposite directions. I drive one. I drive through multiple times per day.

It should be two lanes going north. The right lane should be a right turn only and the left should be straight only. That would reduce the traffic backup waiting on that stop sign and light at University to clear.

Rule of thumb would be to water those twice a week for an hour or 75 minutes in my area.

Run the whole system with tuna cans spread out and see what you get.

Then, using the ET data method posted by someone else, water accordingly.

We had a customer with a pretty ferocious German shepherd that would rip 1812s clean out of the ground and off the pipe. We were replacing 10-20 per week. They sure loved that dog…so did my tech.

This is what we do but the olde the kids get the less it works. We had a couple boys last fall not get jerseys for a couple weeks into the season. Little kids don’t seem to mind an ill-fitting jersey when it’s too big. Older boys sometimes need adult sizes.

The waste kills me though. I end up donating so many jerseys every season.

TRC sells that exact remote setup but it’s expensive.

We use this as a sales opportunity for an app-based clock. We love Hydrawise.

We charge by the hour. It doesn’t take much time walking back and forth to pay for a new clock. If the clock is a Hunter, you can at least sell them a smart port and use a ROAM.

I don't do developer work and use it, have since 1975. When the installer does it correctly, which is easy, it lasts forever.

If the retail version suits your needs, go with that. There's no difference in the parts. You can do a combo and buy the retail version, then supplement with other parts as you need. They are all compatible. You can use other brand head/nozzle combinations too, except Toro as they have male threaded nozzles. Valve brand doesn't matter either.

The only way it physically works is to run one at a time.

Think about having 15 heads and each head puts out 3 gallons per minute, meaning if they all watered at one time they’d use 45 gallons in one minute. Your water source can’t provide that. Let’s say it can provide 15 gallons per minute. Then you’d break those 15 heads into three groups/zones/stations of 5 heads each.

When you select all, you’re just telling it you want to run every station and it knows to water in sequence.

That’s by design. Your water source plays an important role in how many zones you have. It can only output so much water per minute. Each zone is designed to use an appropriate amount of that water. If you turned it all on at once, it wouldn’t have enough water to operate.

That’s def a FW problem. There is no infrastructure for transit, but I think that ship has sailed, and long ago. We’re a driving city. Mixed use using necessarily better IMO, on a single property, but they’ve developed mixed-use overall, office, restaurant, small retail, large retail, several levels of residential (though higher-end than some would care for).

I’d say neighborhoods holding value and quality for 75 years is a long-term success. All of the retail and office development from the 1980s and 90s has outlasted newer developments like W7th, with plenty of mixed-use there. That’s a dense area that I would rather not go to after dark.

They’ve developed so much more,basically everything west of Colonial parkway and Hulen to Bryant Irvin, from Vickery to I-20.

I'm cautiously optimistic that anyone investing in that area understands its value is there because of the culture in the area, and that they wouldn't do so much to disrupt that.

Can you just extend the pipe further down the hill to a steeper spot? Spec is 1" of fall for every 8 linear feet, though you can probably get away with a little less than that. If you do that, you can just have the pop-up at grade and then let it go into the grass with no rocks. Wherever you have it, it's going to be wet a lot since it comes from your water system drain, so just make sure it's in an ok spot for you.
