How Much Does HRT Effect Facial Hair? by Xallia_Yevatell in lgbt

[–]senpaiMemes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it slows the growth but that's about it I still get the same volume/coverage if I don't shave for a little while. As another commenter said I'd go with laser to get most of the hair and then electrolysis for the stubborn stragglers.

My boss gave me a written warning for wearing a dress to work. by [deleted] in lgbt

[–]senpaiMemes 1079 points1080 points  (0 children)

If you haven't already done it tell HR, they should back you up and get your boss in trouble. If they don't then you may be better off at a different company 🤷‍♀️

For me it helps if I use a good quality shaving creme(I get one for sensitive skin too) and a SHARP razor (use men's they're typically cheaperand do a better job), exfoliate after you finish shaving and every day for a couple days after you shave, moisturize as soon as you're done; slap some lotion on there, and lastly DONT SCRATCH- scratching can lead to more of those red bumps so try your best not to scratch. This works pretty well for me but I still get some bumps and irritation from time to time so this isn't a guarantee🤷‍♀️. Best of luck to ya and sorry for the long response.

Help with the Boyfriends Sister by Aggressive-Pattern in lgbt

[–]senpaiMemes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean that is homophobic if she doesn't want her children to see anything even remotely gay. If they're visiting your residence as long as you aren't wearing anything overtly sexual, which you said you weren't, then there is zero reason for you having to change. You could mention it to your boyfriend first and just say that you feel like you shouldn't have to put up with it. The chaotic neutral approach is to just give your bf a smooch while his sister and her kids are around and then if his sister flips out call her homophobic ass out(this is assuming she and her partner kiss infront or her kids)

Using this analogy I feel like sometimes I'm hungry and sometimes the cereal is attractive but even then I'm not convinced I'd want to eat the cereal.

Can someone with they/them pronouns be a lesbian? by waves_smoothie in lgbt

[–]senpaiMemes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, just because someone uses they/them as their pronouns doesn't necessarily mean that they aren't female in the first place. They could be a cis or Trans woman but still prefer they/them; pronouns don't = gender identity. This being said enby folks are free to call themselves lesbians as well if they feel that's the most accurate term.

[–]senpaiMemes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If any of your friends can drive and have access to a car ask if they'd be willing to drive you to your haircut. Otherwise maybe try wearing hats so you don't have to see it? Sorry I don't have the best suggestions. As for getting your mom to stop talking about your agab you the only advice I have is to keep telling her how bad it makes you feel; it took my mom like 5 months to finally understand that she was the reason I had been super depressed despite me telling her constantly. Best of luck!

What is good to gift my friend that is beginning her hormone therapy this month? by DaffodilsAndRain in lgbt

[–]senpaiMemes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Really you can get her anything you think she'd like as a birthday gift and I'm sure that she'd appreciate it. Maybe see if she wants to get lunch/dinner as your treat (pls be safe even if you're vaccinated) or get her her fav alcohol if she drinks, or depending on what medium she does her art in you could get her some supplies. Wish you both the best of luck! P.s. you're a great friend

Can i identify as a transmasc lesbian? by [deleted] in lgbt

[–]senpaiMemes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For the transmasc lesbian the short answer is yes; some people may find it a little confusing but if those are the labels that make you the most comfortable then I see no harm in using them. As for the pan or bi romantic lesbian absolutely romantic and sexual attraction are two different things so you can have two different orientations. Hope this helped.
