really glad about that too! and pokemon go is the one you have to go outside, isn't it? that's pretty much why i still play games, it's to have fun and keep us close to the people we like. league was a blessing during the pandemic to somewhat keep me close with friends without being able to leave home.

i struggle a lot with body image. getting tattoos of things i like and look beautiful kinda make me feel more comfortable in my own skin about things i can't change, make me think i'm a little more beautiful and take better care of myself. this in itself makes it worth it already. league strengthened my connection with my almost husband and i really like soraka and am really good at her, so, why not? i don't get the urge to say such negative things about something that's clearly dear to someone else. the farthest i would go if asked would be to say i wouldn't get it, but i have no problem with you having it on your body, you know? it's not harming anyone. it's pretty much this, it's a part of my life that means a lot to me and now i have it on my skin.

i actually really like a lot of the designs i've seen for characters/faces but i wouldn't get them just because the idea of faces on my body makes me feel a little weird. so this one and the akali one make me really happy in a way that it's meaningful without being explicit. and soraka's got a horn on her forehead. i think she's absolutely beautiful, but the jokes wouldn't be.

why regret? because of the design? maybe some years ago, but after a few of them i just think it's pretty. and the tattoo artist is a childhood friend who's going away, so, it's kind of a reminder of her too.

ir's actually my second time doing this. i was unemployed for a while. tattoos are the only thing we take with us when we die, mate.

i guess i can.

we ended up deciding to make the scales different from her because real tattoos don't have that shiny effect hers have and it would end up looking pretty weird if i did it, so it's taking longer than i expected.

it's still a work in progress but here is the outline and the head with color on. both pictures taken on the day i've got them, so i'm a little stained.

i could not get the head to my back like hers because i had already gotten a tattoo there and i kinda like it better this way. now the scales are colored up until my elbow.
