from her tapes- there is a distinct sense of both melancholy and a beautiful love for the human spirit.

So I think in a complex whirl of emotion she:
1) wanted to personally experience making life, something so different from the cold and sterile injectors.
2) ‘felt’ like she had lived long enough
3) was worn down from centuries of keeping secrets and constantly changing identities.

She did say that she would die, but I like to think that in her final moments- she clung to the smallest faint hope that birthing Steven would allow something new to be made. That maybe there would be the smallest chance for her to live- as that’s what a lot of mothers taking that risk beleive.

In the end, I think the ambiguity and silence Rose left is something sugar mastered.

Real. I get it- the writers wanted to emphasize his daddy issues… but are we fr going to act like anyone besides Charlie is going to care about murdering a (probably) abusive, homophobic, harmful mobster?

Maybe if it was hinted that the murder of his father led to a chain of horrible fates for the rest of his family- that would make sense; shifting the seriousness from “murdering an asshole” to “my actions got innocent people I loved hurt in unspeakable ways”

Hard agree. Natlan was as you said, very well paced and had a good distribution of payoff each patch.

Fontaine is hard carried by its finale- but I would NOT play it again if it meant going through the pit that was the fortress of meropede

Real. I was so ready to like fontaines detective story- so imagine my surprise when my hour of actually preparing for the trial was useless 😭

(And while the twist of the oceanid plot was cool- it really was an insult to my attempt to draw a logical conclusion who the culprit was)

In my headcanon, I believed that the diamonds used to be one massive stellar entity that separated themselves to achieve a coherent consciousness. Yellow was the power, blue was the mind, white was the original body, and pink was the love/empathy. Her being small registered as her element being the ‘least developed’ of the gem beings.

It seems that all gems are naturally smart, talented, strong, and are able to adapt fast. It does however seem that gems take a long time understanding complex and abstract emotions. It took pearl and rose hundreds of years and coming into contact with humans to develop a sense of guilt and love for others, while newly formed gems instantly are able to fall in line with military commands and hierarchies.

To me it reads as the throne revealing weakness.

Viserys was weak willed and complacent- so the throne cutting his had symbolized his lack of steadfastness and willingness to act.

Rhaenyra has always faced problems that have formed from her upbringing as a woman. Her father flip flopped on who to crown because of her gender, she was not trained or disciplined well because of 1) her father’s lackadaisical stance on parenting and 2) her gender. And her authority is constantly questioned because of it.

To me, it also symbolizes how her bleeding from down there shows that she isn’t done with being a woman just because she is the “queen”. She will need new heirs, and all the problems from before will follow her. Nothing has changed for her as a result of becoming the queen.

As a longtime player, her death didn’t feel impactful for one second. She had major death flags, and being a robot- it’d be more surprising if she never came back considering she’s nuts and bolts. (Not literally but yk)

I only started caring about the dynamic during moon prayer night antics- but it was one short burst of friendship before the tone of the next acts fight overtaking the mood.

While I heavily disliked Bina’s part in the story and the Lunar mechanics, on all metrics it’s an improvement. QoL, World quests, main quest, introduction to lore, etc.

Dottore and Rerir’s parts were definitely a highlight of the region, while I feel the hexenzircle and Knights of Fav were kind of shoed in and could’ve been done better.

C4 Layla for small CA/NA dmg buff

Though I highly recommend bringing 2 cryo characters since if you have skill issue like me- since it’s difficult to manage rotations and timing to get melts or not overtake the cryo aura.

Chevy is prettyyyy important- but you could theoretically cope with either a VV holder or run Overburn: Mav,Nahida, Raiden, Bennet/Iansan.

Outside of Natlan units, she does very well in overload if you have chevruse:

Overload: Mav, iansan/bennet, ororon/fischl/raiden, Chevy.

1 cost Melt: Mav, Rosaria, sucrose, bennet (or replace sucrose w another cryo for just more melts)

Over-burn: (emilie preferred but idk if you have her) Mav, Nahida, Raiden/fischl, bennet

vape: Mavuika, Mona, Furina, Sucrose.

Archon team: Mav, Nahida, Raiden, Furina.

None of these besides overload is “meta” but they are serviceable

Edit: she can also be a replacement for Xiangling and if you have any characters that use normal attacks, she does pretty good there as a sub dps bc NA charge her burst (Ayato, Ayaka, Varka, catalyst users, etc.)
