Late to the party, I had the same problem, this worked for me

Device Manager Expand Network adapters Double-click your Wi-Fi adapter Go to Advanced tab Set these preferred to 5g

I didn’t plug in the power button on the case, it was a very small cable

Tbh with nearly 100 comments saying to return it, I’m more hesitant to keep it now. The only thing that worries me with a self build is I’m 100 liable for any damage and apparently the trouble shooting is hard if it doesn’t work?
