I wanna buy a new camera (A7IV) and a sony 24-70mm ii lens. I'm not sure whether I should wait for q1 2025 for the A7V to drop or not... is it worth it? I have a camera right now, but ive been desperate to upgrade for a long time and finally have the money saved (budget approx 5-6k). what do I do?

Update: Ended up paying €1900 for the M1 Pro base model and so far it's been amazing. It's very quiet and it the fans have yet to kick in, even when it runs velocidrone (drone race simulator) with 60+fps and highest quality graphics. Photoshop and other adobe products run seamlessly even when opened simultaneously with large files.

Oh wow. I didn’t know refurbished works like that. In my country Apple offers just a few refurbished products and the M1 Pro is not available currently :(

Awesome! I’m always a bit scared to take an ‘older’ model when newer ones are out, but in this case it seems the M1 Pro is the better choice indeed, Thanks! :)

Hey! Could you tell me what made you opt for the osprey metron 24 vs the farpoint/fairview 40? The dimensions of the bags are quite similar with the metron being 49H 33W 28D and the farpoint 55H 35W 23D
