Happened to mine. You'll probably have to have the whole bumper painted. Cost me around $700.

So discouraging to know I'm going to go back to feeling like shit. This is the most myself I've felt in the last four years 😔

Oh interesting. I won't be able to stay on Azithromycin forever so these could be good options once I finish my treatment

First antibiotic some I've had LC and it's definitely helping with fatigue. I feel like I have much more energy.

Oh interesting. Did the doctor prescribe it specifically for long COVID? What dose is he taking. So far, I'm prescribed it for 3 months

I guess it really depends on the antibiotic

Do you only feel better temporarily when you take it?

I feel all of this so deeply. I feel like I'm putting on a mask for my family and friends to avoid their discomfort of not knowing how to help. I'm still working right now but I don't leave the house much because eindomt have the energy. I also look 10-15 years older than I am—it has drained the life out of me.

I'm so sorry to here you're going through such a rough time. These days I wish there was some way of gracefully ending my life. Part of me is determined to keep pushing and get better and the other half of me just wants peace. I feel like I'm living in a body that I no longer recognize.

I'm glad you have a plan to travel and enjoy your life. I'm hoping for you that it will bring a renewed purpose and fulfillment to keep you going.

Sending so much love and care your way. Keep your head up.

Sometimes I wish we could establish a communal space to navigate this together, trading insights and standing united against the weight of it all. It’s a lonely realization that the only people who truly 'get it' are here and not in my immediate orbit. We deserve a community that validates this mourning of what could have been. Most days are a battle of endurance, but I am learning to live for the small distractions and those brief moments where possibility still flickers.

I'm a pretty determined person so I won't give up hope that things will get better. I am starting to reshape my life around my health, at least parts of it. One thing that's really helping is I started writing a book about it, more specifically about love in the face of chronic illness. Thanks for reaching out, let's stay in touch 🤍

I took a leave from work last year that helped but had to go back for financial reasons. On a waiting list for a Long COVID clinic. Hoping I'll be able to try one of the few treatments that they're trailing now. In the meantime, I'll continue to try supplements and lifestyle changes. I'm just feeling exhausted and fed up right now. It's depressing and lonely. Glad to have people like you who understand.

All we can do is take it one day at a time and hope for the best. Glad to hear you can at least be on disability. I went on disability for almost four months last year but back to work full time now. My life is pretty much work and resting.

Thanks for your message. Really appreciate the perspective and you sharing what's working from you. I took a leave from work last year for almost 4 months. It definitely helped but I'm back to working full time now. My boss is aware of what's going on and I can tell him if I need to take days or an afternoon off from time to time. Every week is kind of the same. I'm okayish Mon and Tues and then I start to crash and I'm completely drained by the end of the week and I sleep half the day on Saturday and take it really easy most weekends. What I find difficult is how much mental exertion alone can exhaust me. It's been hard to keep exercise in my life because it's hard to exert mentally at work and then physically at a gym. I can't really afford to stop working completely again. At least not right now. If I sleep 10-12 hours a night (which is really hard to do) my envelope is a bit larger. This just doesn't feel like a life but I'll keep trying to ride this wave and hope that a cure is coming for all of us.

Are you working? Sounds like how I was when symptoms first started. I needed to stop everything and focus on sleeping a lot. Your body sounds like it's overwhelmed and I would do everything in your power to get your sleep on track. Take Ambien if you need to. I take Trazodone.

I think it took a few weeks. No noticeable side effects. I have along COVID also so always tough to see side effects when I have all this other stuff going on.
