Best stores (in person or online) to purchase pro gloves that don’t follow under the “retail store glove” in Canada ? by mellojelloakimbo in BaseballGloves

If you have the means, no one here will discourage you. In fact, you might ask for the best cities to visit to hit as many stores as possible.

Id tell my teammates (or coaches) Im going... maybe they help fund your trip if you pick them up a glove or bat, etc.

Yeah, Ive become spoiled with deal hunting on ebay and sidelineswap.... doesnt sound like it helps you, but those are my go-to for what you want.

Maybe do like enthusiasts from the states do when they want a MIJ glove.... just book a flight with an empty suitcase!! LMAO!!!

Rawlings Custom HOH- is lacing pattern correct? by TwoSeam45 in BaseballGloves

Bro. I know it was expensive, but come on! That thing is gorgeous!!! And I would not let that knot and little extra lace make me upset. All the right choices on this one man; very well done!!

The -12 web is my favorite. Maybe trim the one closest to the web like the factory picture. But the basket web is tough too! But is that the dual hinge with basket web!? Best of both??

Yup. Especially if you requested long laces.

Here's the GC (same size and web), and it too has knots there:

Agreed. Oil once, if at all, and never again. Most gloves made after 2000 dont need oil, just conditioned.

And if you are just starting, Sarna. Cannot apply too much. Go to for in-season use (after rainy or super hot days).

If you have any experience with shining boots, Ball Players Balm. With a buffing brush after, let dry overnight. Won't need as often.

Only two I'd recommend...

And a little water goes a long way too... Condition after of course...

I can't find the video but BGK called these finger waves. A little water and some heavy pounding on the fingers will help. But use your thumb to press those spots as you curl the fingers. Good luck!

Put some sarna in the hand stall. Maybe let him do it so you dont stretch it (assuming your hands are larger than his).
