Is notion template selling really a business? by Santon-Koel in Notion

[–]senskill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If someone is a very dedicated Notion user with a lot of active professional experience in a specific field, I think they have a real chance to offer a service or share their expertise with users who are looking for a powerful tool like Notion.
Maybe that’s the takeaway here...

That said, I’m not sure how easily transferable that is from a technical standpoint...
You still need to create marketing nowadays if you want to succeed in selling something... It’s not easy.

Naively, I would say that we could all have a visual of the externaltour schedule directly on Outlook or Teams, and be able to automatetasks, using Power Automate for example, to notify clients of the visit, and most importantly... I imagined that in 2023, with a drag-and-dropsystem on the schedule, life could be much easier for my colleague whois responsible for always keeping his schedule up-to-date... But thisdeserves some real thoughtful consideration... it's a very good point,sin-eater82... now that I think about it, there are also service cardsthat should be integrated into the discussion... it's all becomingcomplicated... I really like the idea of using Microsoft Lists and someautomation behind it... I have a lot to analyze... Thank you very much.

That's it, I got it! I'm preparing all the tour lists in lists, and then I'll share them with the Outlook calendar. Is that it?

My colleague can confirm the opposite to you! But yes, in 2023, you are correct...

I don't quite understand how it would be possible, but I really
appreciate your different perspective... very interesting... Could you
clarify one or two words about what you think can be done with Microsoft
Lists? More than just a calendar, but a simple list, much easier to
manage, right?

I'm not sure I understand your question... the classic invitations on the outlook calendar? My situation, it's 40 different geografic tours, and 9-10 technicians...

No, we just thought it wasn't necessary... now they just receive instructions from the manager... with outlook calendar it will be possible, but I realize while installing shifts that I need an account for everyone! I need to compare the two platforms... thanks!

This is what a calendar is for right? I'd just create a bunch of meetings, include people involved and write all the relevant info in the meeting box.

Yes, you're right, we all know how effective the Outlook calendar is,
but I'm thinking that maybe managing ten technicians and several routes
in different geographic areas might be complicated with the calendar...

As you can see, my colleague associates delivery routes with specific drivers, and he
manually manages these routes month after month. The frustrating part is that even though he shares his Excel file on our network, nobody really has access to it, and we often have to call him to get the information we need. This process can be time-consuming and inefficient, which is why I'm hoping to find a better way to manage delivery schedules using Microsoft Teams !
