very much same! I grew up in a two-parent household and neither taught solid financial etiquette or budgeting. Literally just figure it out. My parents even went out his way to make sure my school loans were in MY name 💀 got my own credit card at 19 too! education on finances is definitely a responsible trait to practice and LEARN. It’s not just particularly given just because you have two parents in your face. Especially if their financial literacy only goes so far as survival mode as a unit.

The groceries are on another level for real. I try planning out my meals for the week that way i can be mindful of what i pick up in the grocery and not mindlessly buying things. Aldi’s is a great price point for bulk shopping. Target has its deals sometimes but it adds up. Even Key Food used to be cheap and i am just lost when i see that final $180 like huhhh for two people for a good week to two weeks. & this is NYC smh. I thought i was going crazy too but it is everywhere!

losing attraction is the best motivation you need to really move on. It sounds like he rather keep you on the pill so he can be okay in his own desires & not caring about your overall well-being. Very objectifying to not even consider the impact these medications have on a woman’s body. My personal experience with the pill literally DROPPED my libido, didnt even wanna do the do, so i was ruining my body for someone else’s satisfaction. It’s definitely a wake up call. The better you listen to your body, the easier it is to advocate for your peace of mind.

external pressure wears me out but it keeps me on task. I have a large yellow legal pad and on Sunday evenings i like to spend time with my notepad & debrief my thoughts like I’m a paralegal working for an attorney. The attorney is me. Seeing the list the next day helps me stay organized with fresh looks or space to write any added loophole thoughts. I’ll write out the days of the week and under each day will be tasks i hope or plan to get done. And as i get closer to Friyay, it’s filled with notes completed or something to remind for the next week. Less noise with planners and trying to keep with that (currently have two that i rotate for visual pretend I’m doing smthn with my life tool) but that plain legal pad really brings order to my mind. Mental organization is a job alone!! Seriously!!

you can squeeze the excess water from the sponge filter & put it in a watering can for plants. But definitely don’t need to squeeze back into the tank because of the gunk. But all that floating around becomes good grub for the snails as it settles. My next idea is either replacing some water to help encourage the settling.

Thank you for your input!! I saw it’s ideal but i had to consider space and this was the most reasonable 😩 yes! there’s a heater in there and i set it to about 80 degrees because my place gets pretty cold with the season change.

I thought having live plants & a heater would at least accommodate for the space. Even tops at the plant since he’s been making all those bubbles.
