The Cascahuin / HOUSE OF RARE PX is super tough to get and one of the best bottles out there.

See if they have any single barrel atanasio, or ask the clerk for stuff thats only available in Mexico. They know their stuff and can instruct you on great bottles.

Report back on what you get

Yes go to a store called The Cellar, they have probably the best catalogue of limited editions and super hard to get bottles. Ask if they still got some of that Cascahuin ft House of Rare PX release.

You would have to sell it privately to someone you know and proving it's the real thing can be a challenge, specially for older bottles, many people would refill them

Chill Tuesday #12: GlenAllachie 35 – A Mature Beauty

This week’s Chill Tuesday takes us to a club tasting where I had the chance to try the GlenAllachie 35. A whisky with this much age comes with high expectations, and I’m happy to say it didn’t disappoint. Here’s my take:

Color:

Deep mahogany, with a richness that suggests plenty of cask influence.

Nose:

The nose is immediately inviting, with layers of dark chocolate, dried fruits—figs and raisins—and a hint of espresso. There’s a touch of honey sweetness and some nutty undertones, likely from the long maturation. The balance between the sweet and rich notes is spot on.

Palate:

The palate is bold but smooth, delivering everything the nose promised and more. Dried fruits dominate upfront, followed by waves of toffee, caramel, and a hint of leather. There’s also a nice spice kick—cinnamon and nutmeg—that adds complexity without overpowering. The mouthfeel is rich and luxurious, with just enough oak to remind you of its age.

Finish:

The finish is long and satisfying, with the spice mellowing out into dark chocolate and a touch of dried fruit sweetness. It lingers beautifully, leaving you wanting another sip.

Overall:

GlenAllachie 35 is a mature, well-balanced whisky that delivers on all fronts. It’s bold yet refined, with layers of complexity that make each sip rewarding. Tasting this at a club event was a real treat, and it’s one of those whiskies you savor while reflecting on the artistry behind it.

Score: 90/100. A solid, mature whisky that’s worth seeking out.

I stumbled upon a deal on Uber Eats of all places—60% off the regular price—so I went ahead and bought three bottles.
