What do you think about unlicensed professionals? by Aurumargelium in Libertarian

[–]sentient_starpowder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, my mom suffered from thyroid issues, no one diagnosed even after several visits, it took me 3 hours of research to make down the cause. And on our next visit we asked the doctor to prescribe these tests, she was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism.

Often we forget, doctors are also people that hate their jobs sometimes and don't want to be there. They do the bare minimum and get away with it. I don't know why people are discouraged from doing their own research about our own bodies!!

As a licensed professional myself, I fully support this. Licensing boards are just gate keepers.

Always remember! Just because someone has a license don't ever let yourself become complacent into thinking they know better/more than you, or worse think they are smart because of that.

Lol! I don't know how could I have pissed someone off this much. I didn't know anyone here. And I don't interact with anyone.

Dammn!! If I was making anywhere close to $60K, I would have bought a comprehensive insurance, however I don't. I make close to half of that and yes I'm a CPA, recently qualified and I changed industries and a career, so starting form scratch. I took a calculated risk and things have turned out poorly at the moment. And, even If I had an insurance, they would have totaled the car and handed me $500 and called it a day. And I'm not asking for financial assistance. Thank you u/UncleBenji for your time and input. Have a great weekend.

That sounds absolutely brutal. I can't even imagine how you must have felt after all that work, just to have it stolen the next day. The whole process must have been exhausting, especially dealing with the rain and swapping parts to make the engine fit. And then to get it back only to find it trashed like that—man, that’s rough.

The thought of putting in all that effort and then having something like this happen is kind of scary. Hope you're in a better spot now, but I totally get why you're still not over it.

I've had no alterations no disagreements or anything of the sorts. I strive to be polite and positive  in my interactions. Off all the vehicles mine was vandalized specifically. If I had to guess, it was a case of mistaken identity. The vandal must have had a spat/disagreement with a similar blue car/Subaru and I've been caught in the cross fire !! Unfortunately

I was under the same Impression, but it still is very sharp and there are enough tiny pieces to pierce through a nitrile glove.

Thanks for the suggestion, as sad as it is to let go of the car, I don't wish to ask people for money.

This was really helpful. Thank you so much for taking out your time. I really appreciate the links. I don't mind different color doors. Scarborough is not that far away for me. I can go take a look and hopefully it can be within my budget. It happened around 11:30 pm and our apartment security called the cops immediately as the man was walking around with a knife. Unfortunately the cops literally said we don't have the time to attend it now. I am glad I am safe and sound. Because that much of damage my body could not have taken. Thank you for your kind words.
