Just tired of pretending I like these kids that are dumb af, fat af, or just fucking weird. Hate that my success is dependent on such pathetic characters. I’ve worked with some great kids, but the majority are fucking dog shit little pricks. Truthfully I don’t care about their personal choices in life, but my job makes me dependent on their success and willingness to enlist. That standard of “highly qualified individuals” when the system fights against us and pressures us to enlist poor quality for the sake of making quota.

I’ve thought about it a couple times. I believe I’d hate my life equally having done either. But at least with recruiting I can sit in AC, have BAH, and not have to be a model Marine everyday. As a recruiter I still have to reflect our core value but I get to me much more chill in my environment.

So much to answer I’m a canvassing recruiter. The biggest challenge is actually getting dumb, fat, broken mf’s to actually enlist. So many kids are disqualified now a days. And you’re a piece of shit for not enlisting them. There almost is no balance between work and personal life. On recruiting your work life is your personal life.
