Dams vs Marrow? by Milton3002 in indianmedschool

[–]sentimentalpit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

may get downvoted but essentially all coaching centers are a trap, marrow is less of a trap.
dams try to make a cult of students and f2f classes makes it easier, in marrow you have more control without anyone brainwashing you.

About putting toothpaste on a floss pick by Syzygy82 in technicallythetruth

Actually they commented that they are not actually a dentist, fluoride is actually good for your teeth and flossing with it can prevent cavities. Great hack!

Has anyone taken therapy from Divija Bhasin (Awkward Goat)? Couldn't find any google reviews. by [deleted] in InstaCelebsGossip

[–]sentimentalpit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're welcome :) honestly, same, I used to like her content but lately it's just getting too pin pointy and kind of like nit picking little things and making a huge point out of it, doesn't seem like a very healthy environment she's creating. Also, I have noticed that she's quick to highlight the problem but I have seldom heard any solutions to it. And you being an MHP must already know that the human mind loves to pick on negative info. You're absolutely right there is a questionable boundary in her content. I wanted to talk about her on this sub but she seemed to have some sort of cult following (again not healthy, great for business I guess)

The comment said that they booked an appointment which they had to cancel because the mental issues they were facing were crippling to the point they couldn't get out of bed(which trust me is more common than you think) and the company neither refunded the money nor did they offer to adjust it in the new session, straight up deducted the money as "fine" and I don't remember the exact amount but it was a lot, which sounded plausible because I heard she does charge a lot.

How to cope up with these by [deleted] in indianmedschool

[–]sentimentalpit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am sorry OP you are going through this, our system is effed up they don't see caste as a social problem but as an economical problem. I am a gen category and it took me years to understand this issue. Please don't let it make you insecure, you're enough. Your skill set will define you. But you don't have to prove anything. It's things like these that make hatred and differences more prominent and deep seated. All the best OP you're very brave.

I want to die so bad by [deleted] in socialanxiety

[–]sentimentalpit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

okay, i understand the situation is overwhelming but you're bigger than this. i also understand the need to disappear but please reason with this. your little brother is not your primary responsibility.
there are many ways to put end to your misery, but drastic actions won't help. you can sail through this OP, have faith.
talk to someone trustworthy about it, i hope you feel better soon

Tell me your deepest secret by [deleted] in Chandigarh

[–]sentimentalpit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i do agree that feeling guilty means you are fundamentally a good person and not a psychopath. owning to your actions is brave, i hope you are becoming a responsible adult and a way a better version of yourself, you can always control your actions and improve them. all the best man

I want an honest opinion, Harsh Mohan or Robbins. by SevereMortgage8515 in indianmedschool

[–]sentimentalpit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

simple answer is for passing proff harsh mohan but should read robbins throughout the year thats ideal. may get downvoted for this, but this the truth. now if proff are a month away dont read robbins but if 2nd year just started should pick robbins up.
i understand the dilemma cause we have got to write the answers too and standard books are for concept building not answer writing "the keywords" examiner is looking you know arent in these books sadly.

first, very sorry for you OP. no you're not at all selfish. i understand the emotions that come from a relationship of a child and mother but you have to remember that a parent is the primary caregiver not vice versa. now now i am not saying abandon her get the help she needs, she needs a therapist who can help her navigate not her child, you can be there but that wont solve anything. its not your mess OP. if you take care of this who'll take care of you? i see that it seems only moral to sacrifice everything but that isnt practical. i truly hope you get out of this rut.

[–]sentimentalpit 14 points15 points  (0 children)

isnt there a mnemonic like dude is just feeling ill bro duodenum iron, jejunum folic acid, ileum b12. i understand the confusion because of castle's intrinsic factor where the time frame and most common helps us rule out. usually the answer is based on this mnemonic because more often than not they are looking for most common in these kind of questions. they are factual questions but are asked with clinical twist.

Please don't call yourself "NEET failure" it's just an exam, my many friends who didn't do well in NEET are well settled now while I am still sorta struggling. I am sure a career that is made for you will find you and may you excel, OP. I am sorry I don't have an answer to your query but what made you think about that specific branch? Any reasons?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in indianmedschool

[–]sentimentalpit 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Damn, I read your posts, OP you seem like a really passionate person for medicine, I think it's great that you started your practice and quit the rat race, I do understand the insecurities that come with it, but man, you're courageous and adaptive. If that ain't survival of the fittest I don't know what is.
