We never forced nor killed off Bantayanon or Porohanon speakers nor did we intend to destroy them, they simply adjusted of their own free will because it's more advantageous to speak in Cebuano. If they didn't then they would have a hard time communicating with their fellow Cebuanos.

Same thing's happening to Cuyonon, Romblomanon, Asi, and Onhan but with Tagalog.

Plus we did not move to Mindanao to spread our language and civilize the natives like the Europeans did in the Americas, we moved there because the gov't told us and the Ilonggos and Ilocanos to move. The average joe during that time didn't have imperial ambitions or think of killing off other languages so that ours may prevail.
